Warranty

All goods purchased from stuffnthings.co.nz are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. The duration of this warranty is at least 1 year but some manufacturers offer an extended warranty. Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects.

This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear or anything you break accidentally or deliberately.
This warranty does not cover improper assembly or maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold.

The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or theft.
It is the responsibility of the individual consumer purchaser to assure that all functional parts are initially adjusted properly, and subsequent normal maintenance services and adjustments necessary to keep the bicycle in good operating condition are properly made.
This warranty does not apply to damage due to improper installation of parts, modification or alteration of the brakes, drive train, or frame in any way, or failure to properly maintain or adjust the bicycle. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of items such as brakes, tyres, seat.

If you feel that any item purchased from stuffnthings.co.nz has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring freight costs.

If the goods need to be returned:
Goods must be clean
You must provide proof of purchase
Please be honest when dealing with us, we will endeavor to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer! Unfortunately freight costs cannot be covered

Goods returned will be assessed by our Warranty Department. Replacement goods will be dispatched once approved. We will contact you in cases that are not deemed to be valid for warranty.

New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
